REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

Any person who has served honorably with the 29th Infantry Division, or with a unit that was once part of the 29th Infantry Division, or is serving or has served honorably with the 29th Infantry Division (Light) is eligible for full membership. Also, children and grandchildren of current or former members of the 29th Infantry Division who are over the age of 18 are eligible for full membership.

Any person who served in any unit while attached to the 29th Division during periods of combat (listed on page 312 of the WW II Division History "29 Lets Go",) to include those U. S. Navy and U. S. Coast Guard personnel who brought us in on D-Day and D+1, or who were on shore at the time during our landing are eligible for full membership in the Association. In addition, any person currently serving, or who has served in a unit that has lineage to the 29th Infantry Division (i.e., 121st Engineers) is eligible for full membership.

Associate membership may be granted when deemed advisable to do so. An individual who is not eligible for active membership in the Association or its Ladies Auxiliary may, at the discretion of the Association, be enrolled as an Associate member. Such persons must adhere to the purpose of the Association, but may not hold office or have any vote in the government of the Association. Associate membership shall not exceed 30 percent of the total membership of any post.

 I hereby apply for membership in the 29th Division Association, Inc. and have included $10.00 as payment of annual dues in Post #___________ (where there is a preference), This payment includes the National dues and a one year subscription to "The Twenty Niner", the official publication of the Association. The "Twenty Niner" is published three times per year.

Checks should be made payable to the post of your choice and mailed to the address of the Adjutant/contact for that post alongwith this completed application and other documents.
