The National Convention of the 29th
Division Association will be held at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel
Annapolis, 210 Holiday Court, Annapolis, MD 21401 – 410-224-3150.
The event is scheduled for September 13 to September 16, 2012.
Guests should begin arriving on
Thursday, September 13th and should plan their arrival for not
later than 12:00 Noon. A Convention Committee has been established and
is in the process of planning trips and tours for Thursday afternoon
and all day Friday. When information about the various trips and tours
are decided, they will be published on this website. Please check back
later.
The annual business meeting will take
place at the hotel on Saturday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. until
roughly 3:00 p.m. The meeting will also include the election of new
officers for the year 2012/2013. Our plan is to install both
ladies and men to their new National positions just prior to the
closing of the meeting. After the close of the business meeting,
we will have a National Executive Committee Meeting (NEC I) for all
Executive Committee members. We will attempt to provide shopping
opportunities for the ladies if they choose during the day on
Saturday. Later that evening our normal convention banquet will
be held with several dignitaries and a guest speaker in attendance.
Sunday morning, we will conclude the event with our National Memorial
Service beginning at 9:30.
